Director - Geoff Steele
Geoff started Steele Building Group in 2015 after many years as a carpenter working on a variety of projects. Geoff has gained the right mix of skills and training and experience, combined with fist-hand knowledge of the current rates, trends and conditions shaping the market. Geoff's knowledge of fitout works, problem solving skills and decision-making abilities are invaluable assets in maintaining harmony within the Project Teams and Client Groups. Geoff is focused on the continued growth of Steele Building Group by ensuring a positive and constructive culture is created within his team which creates continued value for clients in a manner that benefits all parties in line with company objectives, policies and procedures.
Construction Manager - Michael Mappas
Michael has had extensive experience in a wide range of projects and delivery methods since commencing in the construction industry in 1995, holding a Bachelor of Construction Management with Honours. Recent projects that Michael has managed from commencement through to completion include the fast tracked Churchill North Shopping Centre and the Retail component of the $170m Rundle Place Redevelopment, a Landmark Project in Adelaide's CBD. Michael is one of the emerging breed of young construction professionals with a commitment and drive to deliver successful projects.
Project Manager/Estimator - Paul Russell
Paul joined Steele Building Group in 2018 and has shown continual proven effort and dedication to the successful delivery of numerous projects. Paul has successfully project managed refurbishment projects for the Crown Casino (Perth and Melbourne), Grand Hyatt Melbourne, as well as numerous other hotel and hospitality projects. Paul also has experience as a QMS manager proving him to be a flexible and knowledgeable team member on many facets of a project. Paul has a strong track record in developing and maintaining a collaborative approach amongst project team members, ensuring effective management of all project time, quality and cost targets and his involvement in the project would be invaluable to meet client objectives.
Site Manager - Jamie Rothall
Jamie joined Steele Building Group in 2019 and brings over 30 years' experience within the construction industry to this role. Jamie has a varied history within the construction industry, beginning as a carpenter and has since experienced roles as a Site Supervisor and Interiors Supervisor - making him a versatile and knowledgeable team member with a strong understanding of multiple facets of the projects he is involved in. Jamie has an eye for detail and will not accept a trade sign off until the expected quality of finish is achieved. He has a proven track record in building successful construction and interiors fitout projects and building excellent rapport with consultant and trade teams.
