  • All Steele Building Group workers are responsible for helping the company identify any possible violations, hazards, or any issue that may affect the environment, community and workers.
  • Reduce waste through re-use and recycling and by purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable.
  • Establish environmental goals and objectives.
  • Promote efficient use of materials and resources throughout our organisation including water, electricity and other resources, particularly those that are non-renewable.
  • Seeking continual improvement in the environmental performance of our operations.
  • Establishing pollution prevention methods.
  • Clearly identifying the environmental responsibilities of personnel.
  • Providing appropriate training and support, while encouraging environmental care amongst our people.
  • Comply with other relevant standards, codes and guidelines
  • Regularly monitor our operations

We are committed to the continual improvement of our Environmental Management System and fulfilling the objectives of this policy and expect the same of our workers and those working on our behalf.

Every worker, including contractors and visitors at a Steele Building Group workplace is responsible for ensuring environmental work practices are followed and conducted at all times. Any perceived unsafe environmental acts must be reported immediately. Any person who does not comply with this environmental policy or any other environmental requirement will be liable to disciplinary action.
